“We don’t need an excuse for them to kill another one of us.”

Protesters might not be receiving the balanced coverage they deserve from the media tonight but a handful of musicians have offered their support. Tonight everyone from Rihanna to Kelly Rowland, Vic Mensa, Freddie Gibbs, Chuck D, Russell Simmons, YG, Big Boi, and Bun B took to Twitter to weigh in on the protests following the tragic death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray, who passed away from spinal injuries most likely caused by a "rough ride" at the hands of Baltimore police, six of whom have since been suspended.
