Ghost Loft Premieres New Single, “The Otherside”

The Los Angles-based artist Danny Choi, who makes music as Ghost Loft, claims allegiance to things that at first might seem antithetical: spare, of-the-moment production and Brit pop bands. His latest single, "The Otherside," premiering today on FADER, merges gauzy banks of pleasant, late '60s-feeling backing vocals, a fragile, Suede-like lead and a hollow, rattling beat. "We've been spending most our days, breaking free from these shackles and chains," sing Choi—but the song moves forward effortlessly.
