Tink Shuffles Into The UK With Her New Single “Wet Dollars”

The video might be set in New York, but she says she made this house jam for London.

"Do you shuffle?" Tink asked a basement in Dalston, east London last night. And once the crowd made it pretty clear that yeah, of course they do, the Chicago MC (and FADER cover star) leapt into a hair-spinning live performance of "Wet Dollars," her quick-stepping new single with British producer Tazer. Despite the fact the video, above, roams through New York's rooftops and subways, Tink premiered the track on UK radio, and made it pretty clear that she made this song for her UK fans—in fact, she seems to have taken a liking to all things British, including the word "peng." Tazer's beat, she told BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Mistajam, "was nothing like anything I had heard before, especially in the States, so I immediately had to take advantage. I had to spit on it.” Watch the video above.
