London Producer Kamixlo Announces Debut EP On Visionist’s CODES Label

Brixton-based, Chilean-British producer Kamixlo has been steadily building a reputation in the capital. A regular DJ at the rowdy south London party Endless and member of the Bala Club collective—including producers Lexxi and Endgame, and MCs Blaze Kidd and Uli K—he's shared line-ups with the likes of Arca and Jam City without so much as an official release to his name.

But conceptual electronic artist Visionist and Berlin-based label PAN are about to change that. The two are teaming up to re-launch Visionist's Lost Codes label as PAN sub-label CODES, and their latest release will be Kamixlo's debut Demonico EP this Friday, October 16. You can stream its hectic first track "Paleta" below—the brash, Latin-infused club banger that Kamixlo frequently drops at the sweaty peak of his sets (the one that has you turning to your mate to yell excitedly, "what is this?").
