Dev Hynes and Connan Mockasin Join Forces On “Feelin’ Lovely”

Earlier this year at the Marfa Myths festival, Dev Hynes and Connan Mockasin wrote three new songs together. For "Feelin' Lovely," the two artists summoned the feeling of a 1975 Bee Gees demo: flickering rhythm, perky keyboard runs, spiky guitars. The track appears along with "La Fat Fur" and "Big Distant Crush" on the Myths 001 EP.

Marfa Myths also announced the festival's lineup for next year, which will include William Basinski, Dungen, Parquet Courts, No Age, and Emitt Rhodes. Read Hynes' FADER cover story.
