According to TMZ, Bobby Shmurda's family now has enough collateral to pay the rapper's $2 million bail. They reportedly put together a 200 page document showing the source of every dollar—some of which stems from property owned by one of the MC's aunts—and are hoping to present it to the judge as soon as possible. Shmurda's lawyer, Alex Spiro, declined to comment to The FADER on the news.
Shmurda lost a bail hearing in October. His trial is set for February 22. Find out everything you need to know about his indictment.
