Last year, Nas announced that he would serve as an executive producer on The Land, a new movie directed Steve Caple Jr. that also features Erykah Badu. In a statement at the time, Nas declared himself a "huge fan of my man Steve Caple Jr. I think he can become the next great filmmaker." "All great energy around the film," he added, "which I believe will yield amazing results."
