Stormzy collected the Breakthrough award at London's South Bank Awards on Sunday, June 5. The grime MC appeared alongside fellow winners BBC1 drama Doctor Foster plus Oscar-nominated 45 Years at the ceremony. Other winners at the awards were taken from the worlds of classical music, theatre, film, opera, dance, and visual art.
Writing on Instagram about his prize, Stormzy wrote: "Honoured to have won the prestigious @thetimes South Bank Breakthrough Award! Thank you to those that voted was amongst some incredible talent today so very humbled to have bought it home!"
