YG and Nipsey Hussle's "FDT" single from earlier this year signaled a rare step into topically political protest music for both rappers. The song prompted responses of positivity and solidarity, but it also caused some controversy. The "FDT" video shoot was shut down by police, and, at one point, YG claimed that the Secret Service had contacted his record label over certain lyrics on the track.

With the general election on the horizon, YG has stepped behind the podium in a new video for Genius, turning "FDT" into a political attack advertisement. YG raps phrases from the song like I like white folks, but I don't like you, while clips of Donald Trump cut in and out. Watch YG's "FDT" attack ad above.
