I like the way that Kanye did/ But Imma do it way, way different, PnB Rock sing-raps over the start of "Stretch My Bandz," his remix of Kanye West's "Father Stretch My Hands." The instrumental might be totally fugazi, but the Philly artist made up for it with his painful autobiographical verses. Kanye's "beautiful morning" becomes "fucked up" on PnB's version — he's been through hell and back times two thanks to near misses and unfortunate collisions with death. But it ends on a hopeful note, thus retaining a chief aspect of what made the original great while doing interesting stuff on its own. Listen below and read our interview with PnB Rock here.
