Bobby Shmurda Reportedly Pleads Guilty In Murder Conspiracy Case

According to TMZ, Bobby Shmurda pled guilty to murder conspiracy charges in court on Friday. In an email statement sent to The FADER, Bobby Shumrda's lawyer Alex Spiro said that "His sentence of 7 years, with credit for 2 years already served and good time credit will hopefully permit him to be home in approximately 3 1⁄2 years and resume his remarkable career. This plea also covers a separate Bronx Indictment."

Shmurda was arrested in December 2014 and has been has been in jail since then after being denied bail seven times. The rapper is currently suing the NYPD for false arrest.

A representative for Epic Records did not immediately return a request for comment.
