After teasing an edit of Solange's "Cranes In The Sky" at a show last week in New York City, Kaytranada has released the full version. In the track's Soundcloud description, the Montreal producer said it came down to a demand from fans to hear it in its entirety. "I couldn't help it and I couldn't deny how good it sounds. This is just an edit that I can play on my dj sets, and I played it once and everybody want it right away." He's still open to doing another, official, remix though: "Honestly I was gonna wait to see if Solange or her team or whoever works for her would've ask me to remix so if they still want to I could make it sound better than that version but ohhhhh, what the hell...."
