Solange has earned her first-ever Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance at the 2017 awards. She's nominated for "Cranes in the Sky," from her A Seat at the Table album, released on September 30, the last day for Grammy eligibility for the 2017 awards. The nomination is another milestone in a year of accomplishments for Solange: She earned her first No. 1 debut in October, selling 72,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

Beyoncé earned the most nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards with nine, making her the most-nominated woman artist of all time. Drake, Rihanna, and Kanye West each earned eight nods, while Chance the Rapper scored seven nominations. Watch Solange's "Cranes in the Sky" video below.
