Poppy Ajudha has a voice that feels timeless. At 21 years old, she draws from soul and jazz influences that stretch throughout the ages, but in the "Love Falls Down" video she also draws the listener into her own personal history. Accompanied by hazy piano and alluring saxophone, Poppy cycles down the streets of her hometown, joining her friends at Deptford market in south east London.

Speaking with The FADER over email, Poppy explained the video's deeper meaning to her: "'Love Falls Down' is a dreamy teenage love song which draws on the experiences and difficulties of first love. For me, the video aims to marry this contemplative state with an honest and raw depiction of my life spent growing up in south east London, and my childhood memories of weekends at Deptford market, where my dad would haggle for fresh crabs and we'd have breakfast at Jenny's Cafe."
