Rae Sremmurd announced over the weekend that their hotly anticipated follow up to SremmLife 2 is on the way. The duo posted a tweet that simply said Sremm 3 on Saturday.

Fans were quick to notice the date, and wonder whether or not the brothers might be playing an April Fool's prank.

That night the rappers debuted a song while performing at Ohio State University, confirming that they've been working on new music.

No release date has been announced for the upcoming album. Earlier this year, the rappers featured on two songs from Mike WiLL Made-It's Ransom 2.

Rae Sremmurd did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
