Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad, who make wistful, melodic punk rock as Girlpool, are releasing their new album Powerplant this week, and the duo has shared a new visual for record's title track. The clip, directed by Philip Steiger, is set in a bowling alley, as Tucker and Tividad perform the song to a group of forlorn teens in the background. Towards the end, a video director with a megaphone interrupts the shoot and we see that the whole scene is contrived.

"This music video is a meta-narrative nightmare exploring the power dynamics and manipulation behind an insincere candidness," director Phillip Steiger told The FADER over email.
