Kanye West called Ebro’s radio show to say “I love you”

The phone call came the day after Ebro revealed Kanye said “I love Donald Trump.”

On Monday, Hot 97 radio host Ebro claimed that Kanye West had told him "I love Donald Trump" when they spoke about Kanye's co-sign of right wing activist Candace Owens. A day later, Kanye phoned into Ebro In The Morning and appeared to extend an olive branch. "I just called to say I love you, bro" Kanye said, proceeding to repeat the phrase "I love you."

Kanye did not refer to Ebro's revelations or the surrounding controversy of his political alignment, which has threatened to overwhelm his announcements of a new solo album, his collaboration with Kid Cudi called Kids See Ghosts, and production on new records from Nas and his G.O.O.D. Music artists Pusha T and Teyana Taylor.

The two promised to meet privately in person before their next on-air interview, before ending the brief call. Watch above.
