Delroy Edwards and Dean Blunt share joint album Desert Sessions
A lo-fi freestyle surprise release from two prolific experimental music producers.
October 10, 2018
Delroy Edwards, the Los Angeles based underground club producer, has teamed up with the ever-enigmatic Dean Blunt for Desert Sessions, a joint instrumental album. The project's jammy vibe a treat for anyone familiar with the early days of Blunt's former project Hype Williams, when foggy synths and dusty drum machines sounded like the future.

Desert Sessions follows two albums from Edwards in 2018, Rio Grande and Aftershocks. Blunt has dropped video of his Mica Levi-scored opera, shared Muggy Vol. 1, the Soul On Fire EP, and featured on A$AP Rocky's album Testing. You can buy limited vinyl of the project from Edwards's own label L.A. Club Resource.
