"The first song isn’t a pop song," Ferreira wrote, "because I really want to make a video for it (& I love it). I’m confident about all of the pop songs on my record so I decided to start with something different. 🤠" See her posts below:

The journey to Ferreira's sophomore album has been fraught with setbacks for the artist. In July 2017 she said her music has been "stuck at the mercy of other people." A year later she shared a cover of "Voices Carry" by 'Til Tuesday.
