Is Tame Impala about to release something?

Australian psych-rock band Tame Impala has updated their website with a video of the band's frontman Kevin Parker in the studio. Watch the clip here, or below via Consequence of Sound. The short clip doesn't contain any new music, but the setting is leading the band's fans to speculate that new music is incoming.

Tame Impala haven't released an album since 2015's Currents. However, the band has seen their popularity grow in recent years with a Coachella appearance, SNL performance, and collabs both released and unreleased with Travis Scott, Kanye West, and SZA. This year, the band shared the new songs "Patience" and "Borderline."
