Carly Rae Jepsen has, at short notice, released a whole album's worth of new material. Dedicated: Side B, an addendum to last year's deeply impressive album Dedicated, came to streaming services early on Wednesday morning.

This is Jepsen's second collection of B-sides and off-cuts. The notoriously prolific and self-critical Canadian pop star released E•MO•TION: Side B a year after 2015's critically adored E•MO•TION. In an interview with The FADER last year, Jepsen said that she'd recorded over 200 songs for Dedicated; the follow-up brings together 12 of the tracks that didn't quite make the cut.

There are familiar names dotted across the tracklist. Jack Antonoff co-wrote and produced "This Love Isn't Crazy" and "Comeback"; Dev Hynes, who co-wrote and produced E•MO•TION's "All That," gets a writing credit on "Stay Away"; and pop polymath Ariel Rechtshaid was on the writing and production team for "Heartbeat."
