Paramore have confirmed the first details of their return. The band will drop new song "This Is Why" on September 28. The news was announced across the band's social media accounts with a photo of Hayley Williams, Zac Farro, and Taylor York.
Next month Paramore will head out on a headline tour of North America. It's the first time the band have played live since they finished touring 2017 album After Laughter with the run of shows taking them to a number of smaller venues across North America. In July the band confirmed that a portion of the money they make from the tour will be given directly to reproductive care and abortion services.
Earlier this year Paramore announced that they had begun working on their next album. In the five years since After Laughter Williams has shared solo albums Petals for Armor and FLOWERS for VASES / descansos. In April she jumped on stage with Billie Eilish to perform Paramore’s “Misery Business” at Coachella.
