Lana Del Rey has said that a recent robbery left her losing a large amount of her work, including a book and new music. Del Rey shared the update in a series of now-deleted videos posted on her @honeymoon Instagram account. In the videos, viewed by Vulture and Pitchfork, she spoke about having a laptop, three video cameras, and multiple hard drives stolen from her car. Various songs from the hard drive, she said, have since leaked online while a manuscript for her upcoming book had to be deleted.

"I had to remotely wipe the computer that had my 200-page book for Simon & Schuster, which I didn’t have backed up on a cloud,” she said. “And despite that, people are still able this week to remotely access my phone and leak our songs and personal photos.”

Del Rey urged fans not to download the leaked songs, many of which are unfinished. “Please don’t listen to the music if you hear it because it’s not coming out yet. And, in terms of the book, I loved the book that I lost with all of my heart and put a lot of passion into it. And in terms of the camcorders, we shall see what happens with that.”

Earlier this month it was confirmed that Del Rey will appear on Taylor Swift's new album Midnights, out October 21. Her most recent album Blue Banisters was released last year.
