This Friday (April 14), Angel Olsen will share Forever Means, a new EP from the Ashville-based singer-songwriter that follows last year’s Big Time, her sixth solo album. Last month, she shared the lovely and meandering “Nothing’s Free,” and today she returns with the EP’s title track. “I’d thought of it as a kind of nod to George Harrison,” Olsen wrote in a statement, “who I’d been getting back into during the pandemic as I was finally calming down and finding moments of peace with myself.”
Olsen will spend the summer touring across the U.K., E.U., and U.S. for a previously announced set of dates, and today she’s added a fresh slate of stateside shows. After an August 19 show in Queens, the new gigs begin uninterrupted on October 18 with three shows in California. That’s followed by two shows in Portland and three in Seattle before individual dates around the country. Find them below following a stream of the “Forever Means” lyric video.
