Lucinda Chua has announced two U.S. shows — her first-ever headlining performances as a solo artist for American audiences. She’ll play in New York at Brooklyn’s Public Records on February 13, 2024 before heading west to play Los Angeles’ Zebulon two days later.

Chua shared her debut solo LP, YIAN, in March. The album’s title means “swallow” in Chinese and comes from Siew Yian, the honorary name given to the London-born artist to preserve her connection with her father’s Chinese-Malaysian roots. Two of the record’s singles — “Echo” and “Something Other Than Years” (feat. yeule) were certified Songs You Need.
