Yaya Bey has shared a new song titled "chasing the bus" and revealed details of her next album. Scroll down to see the Chassidy David-directed video for the single below.
Ten Fold will be released on May 10 via Big Dada and is the follow-up to Bey's Exodus the North Star EP, released in March of last year. The singles “crying through my teeth” and “the evidence" appear as the first two tracks on the 16-song project. Bey's debut album Remember Your North Star was released in 2022; she shared the companion EP Exodus The North Star in March 2024.

"'chasing the bus' has a double meaning," Bey said in a statement. "On the surface, it’s about being taken for granted in a romantic relationship. Being slept on and underestimated. But beyond the surface, it’s a metaphor for how I feel in so many spaces in the industry and it’s sort of an affirmation for myself or a reminder to let go of validation or the lack thereof. To exist regardless because I have to."
Following the release of Ten Fold in May, Bey will head out on a short North American tour. She will perform in Brooklyn, Washington, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia between May 23 and June 1.
