FADER Presents: Phoenix Live at the Music Hall of Williamsburg!

April 22, 2009

If you haven't yet heard any of the songs from Phoenix's upcoming album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix (out May 26th on Glassnote), take a minute: Here's the video for "Lisztomania", and here's the mp3 for "1901". We'll wait right here. Done? Okay, we've decided they might be the best pop band in the world based on those two songs, so we jumped at the chance to present their just announced second NYC show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg along with Bowery Presents on Thursday, June 18th. The show was added after they sold out Terminal 5 on the 19th, so if you weren't able to get tickets for that one, here's your chance for redemption. They go on sale this Friday at noon right here and probably won't last long. Je te dis merde! And see you there. In the meantime, above is one of the videos from their recent appearance on SNL, which gives a good idea of both how crazily great they sound alive and how to rock a Lacoste v-neck with nothing underneath.
