This is in fact a cover of Feist's "Honey Honey" over a UK funky instrumental which, filtered through Bonjay's specific dancehall and pop influences, is unintelligible as the song their fellow Canadian originally recorded. Not that we want to pit them against her eminence, but this flips her wispiness into something with much less self-aware about its atmosphere, letting the bass neutralize the lilting melodies and add a mysterious dimension just from the friction. Plus: DANCEFLOOR READY. Check for Bonjay's six-song EP dropping this summer.
