Juelz Santana Arrested In Jersey, Cops Followed Him for Ten Months

February 03, 2011

Two weeks ago, Juelz Santana missed a chance to sit down with Zeke, Jim Jones and Cam'ron and talk about the Dipset reunion with MTV. A couple weeks before that, cops in Bergenfield New Jersey executed a warrant to search Santana's (government name: Laron James) recording studio. They found two loaded guns and 17 fat bags of weed, a taller stash than Wiz Khalifa was busted with last November. The raid was initiated by the Bergen County prosecutor's gang unit, who has been investigating Santana and his associates, some of whom were caught selling to undercovers, for ten months. Yesterday they charged Juelz with having illegal drugs, intending to sell them near a school zone and holding guns without permits. In his mugshot, he looks like a man whose metabolism has finally slowed down. His bail was set at $125,000 while someone else updated his twitter account:

Juelz's brother Twin expects he'll leave jail tonight. PS, we feel like a candy-hungry bribed kid asking, but: what happened to Cam's twice-weekly leak promise?
