Though hardly half over, 2011 has long been the year of the sax solo, and Washed Out's Yours Truly performance of "Far Away" adds wonderfully to that canon. And much credit to the dude: it's no small feat the way Ernest Greene has transformed a live set that was not that long ago him standing near a laptop into a full fledged, wholly capable, pretty-peopled five-plus-piece.
