The thing that Blondes do amazingly well is make dance music that is perpetually euphoric. They aren't reinventing the wheel here, but like any great musicians, they understand the genre they're working within. They understand why people like it and what they're looking for from it, and they tap deep into that idea. With "Wine," from the final 12-inch in their ambitious trilogy on RVNG, they take that idea further. It's all constant build, or actually maybe constant release? Either way, it's about a single moment stretched out hypnotically for the track's duration. Appropriately, the video echoes this exact vibe.
