Bay Area producer Salva’s "Yellobone," from his EP of the same name, is quick and samba-esque. The vocals that coat the beat—a buttery, looping Don't wanna lose you—are desperate. Shlohmo and 2KWTVR remixed the track into something metropolitan, befitting a fast drive amid bright city lights. The bass on their rework is subdued but pulsing, accompanied by a drum that slaps like footsteps down an empty, lousy alley. Salva's Yellobone was released earlier this month with this remix included, but vinyl of the EP drops next week. Preorder here, and download the track, below.
