Sam wrote this really great post about the best places to listen to Blood Diamonds and confirmed that his particular high/low tempo and beat is great for a lot of places, both dance-friendly and lazy. To me, something about the soft, sweet youthfulness of his record sounds perfect for riding in the back of an open-windowed cab trip with friends, the stillness of sitting down in a car but feeling the whip from windows down. That's exactly what's going on on this remix for the UK band Dear Prudence. The song sparkles with that feeling of going somewhere without ever having to move at all.
