MoMA PS1’s Warm Up 2012 Lineup

May 30, 2012

Judging from MoMA PS1’s Warm Up lineup, we will once again be spending our summer Saturdays sweaty and stoked in the courtyard of MoMA PS1. This year we'll be shaded (and the air will be filtered!) by an installation from HWKN, this year's winners of the Young Architects Program. And, as always, we will dance to a stellar lineup of music curated by the Warm Up 2012 committee, selected by MoMA PS1 director Klaus Biesenbach and organized by MoMA PS1 curatorial assistant Eliza Ryan, and which includes Dean Bein, head of True Panther Sounds; Kris Chen, head of XL Recordings; Robin Carolan, head of Tri Angle Records; Jonathan Galkin, co-founder of DFA Records; Brandon Stosuy, editor for Pitchfork; Matt Werth, label head of RVNG Intl; and Imogene Strauss, as bookings and stage manager. In addition, Warm Up will draw from local New York design talent, featuring rotating stage installations by CONFETTISYSTEM, Fort Makers, Fort Standard, The Principals, Rich Brilliant Willing, and Thunder Horse Video, organized by Jocelyn Miller, MoMA PS1 curatorial assistant.

Like last year, FADER will be releasing a weekly series of FADER/MoMA PS1 exclusive mixes to coincide with each week's lineup. Check out the full Warm Up 2012 lineup below; advanced tickets will go on sale June 18th.
