Watch the Baffling Ending to How To Dress Well’s Video Series

R&B artist How To Dress Well wraps up his desert-set video trilogy with “Childhood Faith In Love.”

July 02, 2014

Over the course of videos for "Repeat Pleasure" and "Face Again," How To Dress Well and director Johannes Greve Muskat have established a vague narrative arc involving a young couple in the desert. Today, they've released a final clip in the series, for What Is This Heart's "Childhood Faith in Love," that offers an appropriately confounding ending to the trilogy. After making their way out of the sand, the couple feed each other snacks and water in slow motion. It starts to seem like a celebratory (if creepy) ending to the saga, but the video's final few seconds confuse the story even further. Watch the video above and if you're looking for more from How To Dress Well, catch our Sirens of Summer feature in the current issue of The FADER, wherein he explains his singing secrets.
