Ratking’s Hak Jumps on New Lee Bannon Single, “MFS - 1”

And his voice sounds crazy.

September 18, 2014

Next month, hard-to-categorize Sacramento producer Lee Bannon will follow up his drum & bass-inspired Alternate Endings LP from earlier this year with a new, 9-track collection. Titled Main/Flex, the EP sees the sonically shape-shifting, early Pro Era affiliate collaborating with a whole new host of admirers, including Chicago footwork mainstay DJ Earl, Anthrax drummer and songwriter Charlie Benante and Ratking member/FADER cover star Hak, whose nasal vocalizations get seriously twisted up on this skittering, break-beat-laden, possibly Björk-sampling (?) new single. Main/Flex is out via Babygrande Records on November 4th, and you can peep the cover art below.
