Pearson Sound Premieres “Swill” From His Self-Titled Debut Album

Listen to an invigorating cut from the Hessel Audio producer’s debut album.

March 03, 2015

Hessle Audio co-founder and producer Pearson Sound will deliver his self-titled LP on March 9, and aside from a bit of a song called "Glass Eye," which was premiered by Benji B on BBC Radio 1 last month, he's kept the project pretty much under wraps. That changes today with the unleashing of "Swill," a spin-cycle of electronic bleeps, snare, and thumping kick bass. As he tells The FADER, it was one of the first album tracks he started—but also one of the last to be completed: "It's foundations were started a couple of years ago. I'd forgotten about it, but I played the demo to an old musical friend who was really enthusiastic and encouraged me to finish it," he says, adding, "A day later, and the track was done!" Pearson Sound is out March 9 on Hessle Audio; till then, get lost in "Swill" below.
