LUKA Slows Down Carly Rae Jepsen’s “All That”

A remix to set the mood.

April 10, 2015

"All That," the slow jam originally by Carly Rae Jepsen and Dev Hynes of Blood Orange, had an overtly '80s throwback mood—AND LUKA makes this song even sexier than it already was by bringing down the already slow vibe and creating even more of a hypnotizing mood. The claps and sounds he uses almost mirror the calm sound of dripping water. He practically cuts down the lyrics to just Show me if you want me/ Show me if you want me/ If I'm all that—and it doesn't need anything else.

"I heard the song on the radio just a few days ago and digged the sound. I had to do my own version of it," Luka told FADER in an email. "Spring is coming and that's the perfect song for it. My production is usually more melancholic / dark. So I just had some fun with this one."
