Stream Daye Jack’s Synthy, Summery Soul Glitch

The stars align on the L.A. experimental rapper’s bright and breezy new album.

June 29, 2015

Waking up on a Monday morning/ Getting dressed up, the boss been calling, says L.A. experimental rapper Daye Jack on "Easy" from his literally-just-dropped new album Soul Glitch. That might sound like a stressful way to begin the week, but coming from Jack, it sounds downright happy-go-lucky. When Jack sing-raps over synthy, 8-bit beats on "Stars Align," My future's so damn bright/ Open them curtains please show that light, he makes it easy to see the glass half full. Just in time for the bright, sunny summer we've been waiting for, the rhythmic, melodic Soul Glitch is the kick in the butt to follow your dreams, motherfucker (hopefully they include heading to the beach). Okay! Stream the premiere below, download the full album here, or cop the deluxe edition here.
