Hear Cee Lo Green’s Bright Remix Of A Tribe Called Quest’s “Footprints”

“I am me, by way of many things, and one them is ATCQ.”

October 27, 2015

Since his Dungeon Family days, Cee Lo Green has considered A Tribe Called Quest something like extended family, as well as an important influence. As he explained to The FADER, "How was it possible to be so varied, strange, unique, interesting and dope? Then "Can I Kick It" and "Bonita Applebum" guaranteed that a brave new world was upon us." He added that, "I am me, by way of many things, and one them is A Tribe Called Quest."

The remix is streaming above, and available for download when you pre-order the reissue, which is set for release November 13. Next up, J. Cole's take on "Can I Kick It."
