Hear Wet Cover Adele’s “Chasing Pavements”

Adele season is well and truly here thanks to her comeback single "Hello"'s video breaking YouTube records. Brooklyn experimental pop outfit Wet are joining in the hype as well with a cover of "Chasing Pavements," her smash single from her debut album 19. The cover is reverent, but also fun: it's relatively bare verses are paired with the hook's heavy filters and pitched samples. If you're familiar with the group, this kind of left turn is no surprise, and the sense of play helps keep it floating above the crowded field of Adele reimaginings.
