Chairlift's latest track is a smooth merger of lite-reggae and jangly pop: the verses creep along, full of bounce and space and bass, until Caroline Polacheck springs into a double-time cadence next to chiming guitar. The FADER originally reported that "Crying In Public" came together with help from Robin Hannibal. According to Chairlift, that is not the case; the song is self-produced.
