Sam Gellaitry Shares A Bubbling Remix Of Låpsley’s “Love Is Blind”

The Scottish producer puts a upbeat spin on the track.

19-year-old singer-songwriter Låpsley has already found substantial success this year, receiving nominations for both the BBC Sound of 2016 and NME 's Best New Artist award, and announcing headline European and U.S. tours. Now, she's teamed up with Soulection producer Sam Gellaitry to remix her single "Love Is Blind" ahead of the March release of debut album Long Way Home. The reimagined track transforms Låpsley's lament to fading love into upbeat, bubbling electronica. It almost feels positive, until Låpsley's striking vocal returns to remind that this is an ending: I know the fire has burnt out/Know I gotta leave now.

Long Way Home arrives on March 4 via XL Recordings.
