Adamn Killa is a 19-year-old rapper out of Chicago’s South Side with his first name tattooed on his forehead, his girl’s on his neck, and a very nutso, half-napping flow.

Back 2 Ballin is his debut mixtape, and a wickedly cohesive one at that—there’s an eerie-yet-soothing post-“Citgo” mood set by Shlohmo, Team SESH’s hnrk, and Glo Gang’s DoLanBeatz that’s basically only broken, for a single track, by a left-field t.A.T.u. flip called “My Stance,” produced by Memphis’ increasingly unstoppable h!tkidd.

It's a classic example of a new artist surrounded by a dozen more new artists, all worthwhile and spreading love via liner notes. Adamn just toured with Yung Lean and appeared in his “Afghanistan” clip; he’s got an amazing song called “Psycho” with Lean collaborator Bladee. Even that neck tattoo leads to more SoundCloud gems still undiscovered.
