Kanye West’s Version Of J Dilla’s “The Anthem” To Get Vinyl Release

A new J Dilla 12" featuring Kanye West's version of "The Anthem" will be released on October 5. The Middle Finger was confirmed by Rappcats and will also feature Dilla’s alternate vocal performance of “Fuck the Police.” Both tracks were originally meant for inclusion on the posthumous 2016 record The Diary. West's original production was recorded in the early 2000s and eventually became the beat for Jay Z's "Takeover," with Dilla producing his own version, of "The Anthem."
