On Friday, Nicolas Jaar confirmed via Facebook that his second studio album Sirens will be out on Friday, September 30. He details that the project will be 6 songs long over a span of 42 minutes, although the tracklisting has yet to be released. A lucky handful of New York fans had the opportunity to listen to the album in full this past weekend, as Jaar hosted a listening in Bushwick following the announcement.

Sirens is the follow up to Jaar's 2011 debut album Space is Only Noise, as well as his Nymphs EP series, Pomegranates soundtrack, and other releases. Jaar's Darkside project with Dave Harrington also released their debut LP Psychic in 2013.
