Kodak Black Has Been Released From Jail On $100,000 Bond

After being extradited to South Carolina on Monday, the Florida rapper is out on bail.

Kodak Black has been released from jail in Florence County, South Carolina on Wednesday after posting a $100,000 bond, The Sun Sentinel reports. The Florida rapper, who was extradited to South Carolina on Monday to face sexual battery charges, took to Instagram following his release.

"I'm happy to finally be going home to my family and friends," he wrote. "I look forward to clearing my name in the very near future. I want to thank God, my family, my team (Vanessa, Phatboy and James McMillan), Atlantic Records, my lawyers and all of my fans for your continuous love and support. I can't wait to get back to doing what I love most - working at being the illest rapper alive."

On Wednesday, details emerged in the sexual battery case after the arrest warrant was released to the public. If convicted of the crime, Kodak Black could face up to 30 years in prison.

Representatives for Kodak Black and Florence County Jail were not immediately available for comment.
