Mick Jenkins And Kaytranada Team Up Again For “Aurora Borealis”

Mick Jenkins and Kaytranada are close collaborators, having worked together on the Chicago rapper's Wave[s] project and his debut studio album The Healing Component. The two are also keen on working on various remixes and loosies together, the most recent being a track called "Aurora Borealis."

On "Aurora Borealis," Mick Jenkins alternates between heavy bars and soulful singing over the fluid and laid-back beat. The song is part of the Countdown2Midnight compilation tape, produced by 119 Productions, and featuring other Chicago artists like Saba, Noname, and Raven Lynae. Listen below.
