Abra took to Twitter to announce she'll be making her acting debut in a new thriller Assassination Nation. According to Variety, she'll star in the film as part of a quartet of lead actresses that includes Suki Waterhouse (of the Divergent series) and Hari Nef, known best for her role on Transparent.
The Variety article announces the film as a "a brilliant and wild piece of social satire," that follows "four teenage girls in a small suburb who become the focus of unwanted, world-wide media attention after their personal information is leaked by an anonymous hacker." The movie will begin shooting in January.
The news wraps up a big 2016 for Abra, who's been popping up on best-of lists left and right after dropping her Princess EP earlier this year.
