Watch “The Roots Present: The Evolution of Greatness,” A NBA Musical

This years NBA All Star Game opened with a NBA themed musical by The Roots–– you read that write. The Roots made a musical about basketball, staring a slew of big names like Jidenna, actor Michael B. Jordan, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Darryl McDaniels of Run D.M.C. and even Hamilton's own Daveed Diggs. The musical details the progression of basketball through the decades leading up to the intro of the all stars playing in the nights game. It was an intro like no other.
